Life has these funny ways of teaching us lessons.. and the most elemental way according to me is through meeting all kinds of people. some leave us lessons of how not to be whereas some on how to be. today i saw a frnd and realised how easy it is for ppl to take advantage of vulnerability. and i instantly knew i have something to learn from her...i have to learn to be strong. i have to learn to believe in myself. and most importantly have to learn that no matter what, i dont deserve any shit from anybody. i see a frnd being nasty to another..and see the the reciever wince and i know that you can harm a person physically, that is momentary..but these kind of wounds are ones that inflict a scar that never fades.
someone said im emotionally weak. and i realised i am. another dear one asked me the reason behind it. and i had no clue. all through my life in my attempt to be nice.. i have taken good battering from the world. this may sound like self pity..but it isnt. its just simply stating facts for what they are. i dont pity myself. like i said..i have had a lot to learn from all these experiences. but with all that battering, i have reached a stage where either things dont affect me at all or when they do they affect me to the extent that i break down completely. taht someone very wisely said i need someone to be a pillar of strength for me. many a times im burdened by my thoughts and feelings and i want to dump it all on my pillar and sit back impassively. but that doesnt happen rite..in lifes lessons..the battles have to be fought rite..there are no subsititutes who wil take over and fight our demons. you come in this world alone, you fight your battles alone, and you die alone. you can only have a companion in your war..nothing more than that. for after all isnt htat person fighting his own wars? is it humanly possible for him to take over yours as well?? definitely not. and i for one want to have the satisfaction of overcoming all my demons and emerging victorious and stronger than ever before.
